Alaska Native Hire uses modern passwordless authentication via Clerk. You can sign in using a secure one-time email verification code, a magic link sent to your inbox, or single sign-on (SSO) with Google or Microsoft. If you ever forget your password or login email, simply enter your email address on the Sign In page to receive an instant access link.

Once signed in, click your profile icon in the top header to access Account Settings. From there you can update your basic contact details, phone number, location, and preferred contact email.

Use the top search bar or the instant CMD+K search modal on any page. You can search by job title (e.g. 'Bookkeeper'), technical skills ('CDL Class A', 'accounts receivable'), company names ('CIRI', 'Doyon', 'NANA'), or Alaska region. Use the sidebar filters to sort by Posted Date, Region, and Native Preference tags.

Employers search candidate profiles by past job titles, education, trade credentials, desired industries, tribal affiliation, and location. Completing your profile as close to 100% as possible and selecting your Desired Industries increases your visibility to recruiters.

Yes! If you are not actively job hunting, switch your profile status to 'Inactive' under Account Settings. This hides your profile from employer searches while safely preserving your stored resume, credentials, and work history for future use.

Approved Alaska employers access the Employer Portal via Clerk Organization accounts. Corporate team members can sign in with organization single sign-on (SSO) or passwordless email verification links.

Navigate to the Employer Portal (/employer/dashboard) and submit your organization details and job posting. All job submissions undergo CITC Workforce Operations moderation to ensure compliance with Alaska hire guidelines, P.L. 93-638, and ANCSA shareholder preference attestations.

Verified employer members can search the active candidate database by trade credentials, commercial licenses, region, desired industry sector, and tribal affiliation to fill vacant positions.

Under Public Law 93-638 (Indian Self-Determination Act) and Title VII Section 703(i) of the Civil Rights Act, designated tribal entities and Alaska Native Regional Corporations are legally authorized to grant employment preference to qualified Alaska Native and American Indian applicants.

Yes! All career navigation, resume coaching, tool grants, CDL training grants, and job placement assistance provided by Cook Inlet Tribal Council (CITC) are 100% free for eligible participants in the Cook Inlet region.
