Commercial Tire Technician (Rotational Schedule) - PRU016H This is a remote/ rotational position, working in Prudhoe Bay, AK. The typical schedule is 84 hours per week (40 hours straight time and a minimum of 44 hours at time and a half). All meals and lodging are provided by Worley while the employee is on location. Transportation between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay is provided. UAF Facilities Services is looking for a highly organized and service-minded professional to help manage our Vehicle and Equipment Pool and keep transportation operations running smoothly across campus. In this role, you'll coordinate the day-to-day operations of UAF's vehicle and equipment fleet, including scheduling rentals and drivers, tracking preventative maintenance and repairs, managing long-term leases, monitoring vehicle availability, and helping departments find the right transportation solutions for their needs. You'll work closely with departments across the university, coordinate with repair shops and insurance representatives when needed, maintain fleet and work-order records, assist with billing and budgeting, and help plan for future vehicle and equipment needs. You'll also supervise and support student employees, coordinate shuttle services, prepare vehicles for rental, and make sure vehicles are safe, clean, equipped, and ready to go.
