Residential Support Staff - Chanlyut Job Title: Residential Support Staff I/II Job Type: Regular, Full-Time/Part-Time The Residential Support Staff plays a vital role on a multidisciplinary care team, providing essential support to participants throughout their recovery journey in a residential treatment setting. This position focuses on facilitating skill development, offering direct support within the milieu, and maintaining a safe, structured environment that promotes healing and growth. Working in partnership with our people, Support Staff apply trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and recovery-oriented practices to develop opportunities that fulfill our endless potential. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, cultural sensitivity, and dedication to fostering personal growth and resilience through consistent, supportive, and strength-based interactions. Monitor day-to-day program schedules and promote a therapeutic, supportive milieu culture and environment. Provide social and emotional support to participants using Trauma-Informed and Motivational Interviewing techniques.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with demonstrated ability in conducting individual and group sessions.
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Flexible and adaptable to shifting priorities with strong time management skills to handle multiple deadlines.
- Excellent judgment, decision making, and critical thinking skills in dynamic environments.
- Demonstrated ability and willingness to be cross-trained in all aspects of the program.
