Position Description
ETR Employment and Support Services Intern POSITION: ETR Employment and Support Services Intern Reports to: ETR/477 Administrator WORK SCHEDULE: Up to 20 hrs. per week DURATION: 3-Month Internship (May be extended by mutual agreement) DUTIES: Under the supervision of the ETR/477 Administrator and the Education and Employment Coordinator, the Employment and Support Services Intern will gain hands-on experience in employment and training case management, participant engagement, and workforce development services. The intern will assist with participant meetings, documentation, employment planning, and outreach activities that support Alaska Native and American Indian tribal members. This position provides practical learning in motivational interviewing, strengths-based goal setting, case note documentation, database entry, and culturally responsive service delivery. Learning opportunities may also include clerical support, project coordination, quality improvement, and exposure to grant and program operations based on the intern’s interests and goals.
