Position Description
The Barback (Bartender Assistant) supports bartenders and ensures smooth, efficient bar operations in a fast-paced hospitality environment. This role focuses on maintaining a clean, well-stocked bar, delivering excellent guest service, and assisting with preparation tasks to keep service running seamlessly. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Restock and replenish bar inventory including liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and ice. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including countertops, shelves, sinks, and storage areas. Assist bartenders with preparing garnishes, juices, and basic drink components.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Strong work ethics and ability to work quickly in a high-volume environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (cases and supplies).
- Ability to stand, bend, and move for long periods.
