Food Cashier/Food Attendant

Position Description

The Food Cashier/Food Attendant is responsible for providing friendly, fast, and accurate customer service while processing food orders. This position handles cash and electronic transactions, assists with food preparation support, and helps maintain cleanliness and organization within the Food Truck and the dining areas. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with the public. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Demonstrate thorough knowledge of all menu items, including prices and preparation methods. Provide excellent customer service with a friendly, helpful, and professional demeanor while accurately taking customer orders and ensuring proper food presentation. Perform all cashier responsibilities, including operating the P.O.S. system, collecting payments, issuing receipts, maintaining cash accuracy, and preparing end‑of‑shift deposits following established cash‑handling procedures.
