Position Description
The Slot Technician is responsible for general repair work and maintenance of slot machines. Observes machines to ensure legitimate play. Set up and verify all slot machines being converted or installed. Handles necessary updates and authorized modifications. Performs all maintenance tasks assigned by the Assistant General Manager. Must have working knowledge of electrical circuitry in order to read and interpret schematics. Trouble shoots and correct electrical malfunction. Essential Duties and Responsibilities The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following: Assist in ongoing training and support troubleshooting procedures, new technology, and best practices. Assist and ensure the proper maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of slot machines, including mechanical, electrical and software components. Assist in the installation and set-up of new slot machines, ensuring they are properly configured and meet the casino technical standards and gaming regulations.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Minimum of 3-years of experience in a technical role involving slot machines or gaming equipment with strong knowledge of slot machine components, mechanics, and electronics.
- Ability to deal with inebriated customers in a courteous manner.
