Position Description
Cook Inlet Housing Authority (CIHA) is looking for a skilled HVAC Technician to support and maintain HVAC and refrigeration systems across our residential and commercial properties. In this role, you’ll help ensure our buildings remain safe, functional, and comfortable for our residents. This is a field-based position working across multiple properties and collaborating with maintenance staff and property teams. A combination of self-directed and collaborative work under the direction of a highly organized, straight forward manager. Competitive salary and benefits package; Compensation: $33.65 – $37.26 per hour (DOE)
Key Requirements & Qualifications

- We’re looking for a hands-on HVAC technician with strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to manage work efficiently in the field: Here’s what we’re after:
- At least 2 years of HVAC journeyman-level experience in maintenance and repair.
- Active Alaska HVAC Journeyman or Master License.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable, insured vehicle suitable for all-weather travel.
