Peer Educator

Position Description

Reports To: Lead Facilitator and Trainer The Peer Educator provides essential health and life-skills education to Alaska Native and American Indian youth through evidence-based curricula, group facilitation, and individual peer interactions focused on reproductive health, sexuality, and overall wellness. This position promotes healthy decision-making, fosters community connections, and encourages peer-to-peer learning across multiple service sites. Working in partnership with our people, the Peer Educator helps create opportunities that support the endless potential of Alaska Native and American Indian youth through culturally responsive education and positive peer engagement. This role requires strong communication skills, cultural competency, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality while upholding CITC's mission and values.
