Position Description
Janitor - Remote Camp (North Slope) We are seeking dependable and detail-orientated Janitors to support daily operations at a remote camp on the North Slope of Alaska. The role is responsible for maintaining clean and sanitary common areas, offices, living quarters, kitchens, restrooms, and common areas; performing full floor‑care tasks; removing and compacting trash; completing light maintenance such as changing bulbs; and keeping entryways clear of snow and debris. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, and comfortable working long hours in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Work Location: Remote Camp, North Slope, Alaska Rotational Schedule: 3 weeks on/3 weeks off Work shifts: 12 hours/day (40 hrs straight time + 44 hrs OT per work week). Travel: Flights between Anchorage and the job site are arranged and paid for by the company
Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Ability to work in a constant state of alertness in a safe manner
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical requirements
- Must meet criminal history and background requirements
- Ability to remain on your feet for long shifts and perform repetitive physical tasks, including walking, bending, kneeling, and lifting.
