Position Description
Kitchen Helper- North Slope, AK We are seeking dependable and team-oriented Kitchen Helpers to support daily kitchen and dining operations in a remote camp on the North Slope of Alaska. This role assists cooks and food service staff with food preparation, sanitation, dishwashing, and dining area upkeep. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, adaptable, and comfortable working long hours in a fast-paced kitchen environment. Work Location: Remote Camp, North Slope, Alaska Rotational Schedule: 3 weeks on/3 weeks off or 2 weeks on/2 weeks off; varies by job site Work shifts: 12 hours/day (40 hrs straight time + 44 hrs OT per work week). Travel: Flights between Anchorage and the job site are arranged and paid for by the company
Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Previous food service or kitchen experience
- Alaska Food Worker Card or ability to obtain upon hire
- Ability to work rotational schedules with extended time away from home
- Ability to live in a camp or dormitory-style setting, including sharing a room if required
- Ability to remain on your feet for long shifts and perform repetitive physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
