Position Description
The Panel Shop Lead will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our panel shop, ensuring the timely and efficient completion of tasks, and maintaining quality standards. This role requires technical knowledge and the ability to coordinate activities to meet production goals. This is a physical position so the applicant must be able to be able to work on their feet for long periods and able to lift at least fifty pounds. The Panel Shop Lead is responsible for ensuring compliance with UL standards and establishing a safe and efficient work environment. Essential Functions include but are not limited to: (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.) • Troubleshoot technical problems and provide guidance to technicians as needed. • Conduct quality control checks and functional tests on all panel assemblies. • Collaborate with engineering and project managers to resolve issues and improve processes.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
- • Electrical experience preferred.
- • Proven experience as a supervisor or a similar leadership role.
- • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- • 3+ years related experience and/or training in the department assigned.
