Position Description

Security and Communications Junior Project Manager Koniag Energy & Water is seeking a Security & Communications Junior Project Manager to support field projects involving video surveillance, associated networking, communications infrastructure, tower work, and physical security systems. Working under the guidance of experienced project and company leadership, this role assists with project execution from turnover or award through testing, customer acceptance, and closeout while learning KEW project-management practices and technical requirements. This is a developmental, hands-on opportunity for a motivated candidate with strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Prior project-management or people-management experience is not required. The successful candidate will learn on the job, take on increasing responsibility as proficiency develops, and help maintain control of safety, scope, schedule, cost, documentation, and customer expectations. Assist with security, surveillance, communications, networking, tower, and related low-voltage or electrical projects from planning through customer acceptance and closeout. Learn to develop and maintain execution plans, budgets, schedules, labor forecasts, procurement plans, site logistics, submittal logs, testing plans, risk registers, and closeout plans.
