Medical Technologist *Sign on Bonus, Relocation, Free Health Insurance* Title: Medical Technologist Pay Grade: 30 Program: Laboratory Status: Non-Exempt Housing Priority: 3 Covered: Yes Performs all tests commonly performed in a hospital laboratory. Maintains, operates, and troubleshoots equipment. Performs quality control. PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Performs patient specimen testing. Ensures sample suitability. Evaluates, judges and interprets test results and ensures accuracy. Identifies and resolves inconsistencies in patient results.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or related Life Science field from an accredited institution. MT (ASCP) registry, or certification as Clinical Laboratory Scientist by NCA or MT (AMT); or obtain within 6 months of hire.
- Increases depending on experience, education and as determined by the hiring manager.
