Position Description

Operations Manager - Behavioral Health Nokomis Strategies is recruiting for RISE Wellness: Operations Manager The Operations Manager serves as a central coordinating force supporting the day-to-day administrative, operational, and programmatic functions of behavioral health services. This role is grounded in the understanding that strong operations are essential to delivering consistent, high-quality, and culturally responsive care. This position stands at the intersection of people, process, and purpose—ensuring that systems are in place to support both staff and community members on their journey toward wellness. The Operations Manager works closely with clinical leadership to maintain efficient workflows, uphold compliance requirements, and strengthen service delivery across the organization. Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, public health, or a related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant work experience. Minimum 5–7 years of progressively responsible experience in operations, administration, office management, or program coordination, preferably in a healthcare, behavioral health, or human services setting.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, public health, or a related field or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant work experience.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of progressively responsible experience in operations, administration, office management, or program coordination, preferably in a healthcare, behavioral health, or human services setting.
  • Demonstrated experience working in fast-paced or start-up environments where flexibility, initiative, and the ability to take on a wide range of responsibilities are essential.
  • Experience supporting or performing a broad range of administrative functions, including front desk operations, scheduling, data tracking, and basic HR or personnel coordination
