Position Description
Senior Construction Project Engineer The Senior Construction Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all technical and engineering aspects of construction projects from pre-construction through project closeout. This position supports the Project Manager by ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with contract documents, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. · Lead engineering and construction activities from pre-construction through project closeout. · Manage project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, schedules, and closeout packages. · Review contracts, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance and identify risks. · Coordinate with project managers, clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to deliver successful projects.
Key Requirements & Qualifications
- · Monitor field operations to ensure compliance with safety, quality, environmental, and project requirements.
- KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
- · Understanding of construction contracts, drawings, specifications, building codes, and OSHA safety requirements.
- · Experience in or willingness to work in Microsoft Office and construction management/project scheduling software.
- · Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills.
