Position Description
Instructor/Assistant Professor of Business and Basic Accounting REPORTS TO: Dean of Academic Affairs LOCATION: On Campus in Utqiagvik, Alaska WORK SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm COMPENSATION: $71,491.01 - $94,583.39/year + Benefits, Exempt, Faculty Position DESIRED START DATE : January 4, 2027
Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Teach courses in the faculty member’s field of specialization (basic accounting and finance, general business) at the Associate and Bachelor degree levels.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience teaching introductory economics, basic accounting, and financial management courses (priority). Experience teaching management and operations (secondary).
- Computer and technology skills, as needed to perform duties.
- Minimum two years post-secondary teaching experience.
