Position Description
IT System & Network Administrator WORK SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday 9:30am - 6:00pm COMPENSATION: $78,419.25/year + DOE + Benefits, Exempt Regular Full-Time Position Ilisagvik College is rooted in the ancestral homeland of the Iñupiat. The IT Systems & Network Administrator is responsible for the administration, support, and maintenance of the college’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, hardware, software, and user systems. This role provides both Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, contributes to long-term planning and project implementation, and ensures the security and reliability of campus-wide technology systems. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Requirements & Qualifications
- Deploy, configure, and monitor servers, storage systems, and network devices to ensure availability and performance.
- Maintain accurate documentation for network architecture, system configurations, and license compliance.
- Systems Monitoring & Maintenance: Experience using tools for network monitoring, alerting, performance tracking, and diagnostics.
- Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
