Position Description
REPORTS TO: Director of Library Services WORK SCHEDULE: Tuesday through Saturday 8:30am - 5:00pm COMPENSATION: $40.22/hour + DOE + Benefits, Non-Exempt Regular Full-Time Position Ilisagvik College is rooted in the ancestral homeland of the Iñupiat. Under the supervision of the Director of Library Services, the Library Outreach and Program Coordinator will plan, develop, and facilitate programming and outreach services to youth and adult populations that best reflect the community, cultural diversity and needs of our community. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication skills, public speaking skills as well as customer service skills.
- Demonstrated skills and experience in project management, problem and data analysis, and planning; skills and experience in devising innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Demonstrated ability to interact effectively in a multicultural environment, including working with various organizations and community partners.
- Demonstrated experience working with children, teens and adults.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of computer applications such as word processing, spreadsheet, PowerPoint, and internet research skills.
