Position Description

Marketing and Communications Manager The Marketing and Communications Manager leads Covenant House Alaska’s communications and public relations efforts to increase awareness, engagement, and fundraising support among donors, media, and the community. This role oversees the creation and distribution of all digital and print communications, including social media and media relations, and manages public outreach to educate the community about CHA’s programs and services. The Marketing and Communications Manager is also responsible for maintaining internal communications, including company intranet content. Lead the development and implementation of Covenant House Alaska’s external and internal communication strategies, including media/public relations, marketing, general communications and employee-focused communications. Create and execute an annual integrated communications plan for both external and internal Covenant House Alaska audiences. Create (capture and edit) or produce all photo and video content for the general creative needs of the Development Team including but not limited to; events, social media, donations, donor visits, etc Create and distribute compelling content and promotional materials for digital and print platforms, including annual report, newsletters, press releases, website updates, regular email communications, and social media.
