Position Description
Adjunct Faculty - Non-Credit (Course Development) The College of Business and Security Management (CBSM) at the University of Alaska Fairbanks is looking for qualified adjunct faculty for the 2026-2027 Academic Year to create online course content and develop engaging curricula for the following areas: Accounting, Applied Management, Business Administration, Economics, Healthcare Management, Homeland Security and Emergency Management, and Sport & Recreation Management. Successful applicants should have a master's degree or Ph.D. in a related field and professional experience in the field of study relevant to the course being developed. Applicants should be familiar with online learning. Work might be in-person or remote, depending on the needs of the program respective to the course being developed. Extensive experience in the field of study related to the course being developed. Ability to create online course content. Experience sufficient to perform the job. Experience in higher education is preferred. Master's degree or Ph.D. related to accounting, applied management, business administration, economics, homeland security and emergency management, or healthcare management.
