Position Description
Adjunct Instructor - UAA College of Engineering The College of Engineering at UAA is accepting applications for our adjunct instructor job pool for academic year 26-27. The incumbent will be responsible for teaching one or more courses in a manner consistent with the course content guide. Adjunct faculty are expected to hold office hours appropriate for the course(s) being taught. Applicants must be available to work within Alaska during the length of the assignment. Applicants will be evaluated on the suitability of their academic preparations, past teaching experience and potential for providing high quality instruction to undergraduate students in a manner consistent with the specific course content guidelines. Applicants must have experience relevant to teaching the specific course content. MA/MS in Engineering or a related field, unless an exception has been approved by the College of Engineering Dean. Exceptions may be made in other circumstances when prospective faculty have special professional credentials and experience.
