To truly excel as an Assistant Director of Acceleration Academy Operations & Academics, the ideal candidate will leverage experience in an educational setting to be an organized, detail-oriented leader with a proactive approach to student support and program development. A background in education will be invaluable, as will the application of strong communication, conflict resolution, and behavior management skills when interacting with students, parents, and staff. The ability to interpret and enforce policies and procedures consistently and fairly is crucial, as is maintaining clear, professional boundaries with students and staff. This role requires sound judgment and decision-making, particularly in complex situations and during emergencies. Success also requires the ability to efficiently multitask, delegate work effectively, and foster a collaborative environment for temporary and student employees. Experience in curriculum/program design and implementation for school-aged children, coupled with a working knowledge of risk management practices, will be highly beneficial. • Bachelor's degree in a STEM or education field and four years of progressively responsible experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
