Associate Director for Campus Recreation Are you looking for a leadership role that directly impacts student retention and shapes the campus experience? The UAS Campus Life team is seeking a dynamic, student-centered professional to lead our programming as the Associate Director for Campus Recreation. In this position, you will oversee our unique Joint Use recreation facility-managed in partnership with the Alaska Army National Guard-while directing a comprehensive portfolio of fitness, court sports, and outdoor recreation programs, including our signature climbing wall and gear rental services. The Associate Director drives daily facility operations, guides budget strategy, and cultivates high-impact partnerships with local community organizations. Beyond facility management, you will supervise and mentor a dedicated team of student staff, empowering them to build an engaged, active campus culture. We are looking for a candidate passionate about fostering inclusive recreational spaces, driving student success initiatives, and elevating the UAS experience in Southeast Alaska. Bachelor's degree in related field and four years progressively responsible relevant experience and one years management experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Master's Degree in Recreation Management, Student Affairs and Higher Education, College Student Personnel, or a related field strongly preferred.
