CNC Machinist - Geophysical Institute The Geophysical Institute is looking for a CNC Machinist to join our research-focused Machine Shop, using CNC machines, lathes, milling machines, 3D printers, and other equipment to fabricate, construct, and complete projects. As our CNC Machinist, you will play an important role in designing and fabricating equipment used by UAF researchers worldwide. This position is represented by Local 6070. The Machine Shop at the Geophysical Institute (GI), University of Alaska Fairbanks, invites you to apply for the CNC Machinist position we are currently hiring.
