Facilities Services - Transportation Coordinator Do you enjoy keeping operations organized, solving problems, and making sure people have the vehicles and equipment they need to get the job done? UAF Facilities Services is looking for a highly organized and service-minded professional to help manage our Vehicle and Equipment Pool and keep transportation operations running smoothly across campus. In this role, you'll coordinate the day-to-day operations of UAF's vehicle and equipment fleet, including scheduling rentals and drivers, tracking preventative maintenance and repairs, managing long-term leases, monitoring vehicle availability, and helping departments find the right transportation solutions for their needs. You'll work closely with departments across the university, coordinate with repair shops and insurance representatives when needed, maintain fleet and work-order records, assist with billing and budgeting, and help plan for future vehicle and equipment needs. You'll also supervise and support student employees, coordinate shuttle services, prepare vehicles for rental, and make sure vehicles are safe, clean, equipped, and ready to go. During UAF's busiest seasons, you'll play an important role in balancing competing needs and making sure our fleet is being used efficiently and effectively. Key Requirements & Qualifications
- The ability to effectively supervise and support employees, including student workers, is important for success in this role.
- A high school diploma or equivalent and three years of progressively responsible office or administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience, is required.

- Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
