First-Year Experience Coordinator The Department of Student Engagement is looking for candidates interested in supporting UAA's new students and supporting the efforts of marketing and communication of Student Engagement! If you are interested in supporting the first-year experience for our students then we encourage you to apply! The First-Year Experience Coordinator supports the successful transition of new students through communication, orientation programming, and student engagement initiatives. This role combines marketing, content development, event coordination, and data assessment to enhance the student experience from the admission stage through their first year. Working together with campus partners, the coordinator helps deliver impactful programs, maintain consistent messaging, and support student success and retention efforts across the university. To thrive in this role, candidates should be highly organized, with strong communication, marketing, and project management skills. Success requires the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, build positive relationships across campus communities, and apply sound judgment to solve problems. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting student success initiatives, coordinating complex projects, using technology and data systems, and translating institutional goals into clear, communications. Bachelor's degree in a related field and three years relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
