Non-Tenure Track Term Assistant Professor of Chemistry The Department of Chemistry at the University of Alaska Anchorage (UAA) invites applications for a non-tenure track term Assistant Professor of Chemistry with a specialty in inorganic or bioinorganic chemistry. We are seeking an enthusiastic and student-centered inorganic chemist who is passionate about teaching and mentoring the next generation of scientists. This position offers the opportunity to inspire students through engaging instruction, innovative laboratory experiences, and meaningful faculty-student interactions within a collaborative and supportive academic environment that values excellence in undergraduate education. The anticipated start date for this position is August 2027. The Department offers undergraduate instruction in general, organic, inorganic, physical, analytical, and biochemistry. We seek an enthusiastic educator whose expertise complements the department's strengths and who is committed to student-centered teaching and mentorship. The successful candidate will teach four or more undergraduate courses, contribute to departmental, college, and/or university service, and participate in a collaborative academic environment that values innovative teaching, student mentorship, curriculum development, and active engagement in departmental life in support of the broader educational mission of the College of Arts and Sciences.
