Position Description
Office of Research-Temporary Faculty ( Non-Credit) This is a pool from which the Office of Research, to include the College of Engineering (CoEng), College of Business and Public Policy (CBPP), Institute of Social and Economic Research (ISER), Community Technical College (CTC), Business Enterprise Institute (BEI), and the School of Education (SoEd) will draw upon when Temporary Faculty Non-Credit Researchers are needed to work on sponsored projects. Non-Credit Adjunct research positions are externally funded. The duration of employment is dependent on the duration of the research project(s). As a Non-Credit Research Adjunct, you may perform a broad range of research activities in support of the department's academic, scientific, and strategic objectives, as well as externally sponsored projects, as appropriate to your assignment. You may collaborate with faculty, researchers, staff, and students to plan, develop, execute, and disseminate research initiatives. You may assist in the design and implementation of research methodologies; collect, manage, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data; maintain accurate research records; and prepare technical reports, presentations, manuscripts, and other scholarly materials. You may help ensure that research activities are conducted in accordance with applicable institutional policies, sponsor requirements, ethical standards, and regulatory guidelines. You may also support grant-funded and departmental research by coordinating project activities, maintaining research resources, monitoring project timelines, and contributing to the successful completion of project objectives and deliverables. You may participate in meetings, provide subject matter expertise within your assigned areas, support interdisciplinary collaborations, and perform other research-related duties as assigned. Your specific responsibilities and the scope of your work will vary based on departmental needs, project requirements, available funding, and your qualifications and expertise.

- Candidates will be evaluated on suitability of their academic preparation, previous research, and ability to perform the research needed as well as their ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
- This is a Temporary position and salary will be determined by prior experience.
