Position Description
The Alaska Center for Rural Health and Health Workforce (ACRH-HW) is looking for a friendly, organized, and adaptable Program Assistant to join our team! ACRH-HW works to strengthen Alaska's healthcare workforce through health career pathways, rural clinical training opportunities, continuing education, professional development, and partnerships with organizations across the state. As our programs continue to grow, we're looking for someone who can help keep the behind-the-scenes work moving smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of program support, training coordination, customer service, purchasing, travel coordination, and administrative problem-solving. This position is ideal for someone who is highly organized, adaptable, and service-oriented and who enjoys managing multiple priorities while contributing to meaningful programs and initiatives. Experience in Microsoft office software and administrative and program support is ideal. Experience with University of Alaska systems and processes is beneficial but not required. The ability to learn and effectively use new systems and processes is equally important. High School graduation and two years office/administrative experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. This position is located on the UAA campus in Anchorage, and flexible on-site/hybrid work arrangements may be considered in accordance with UA regulations.
