Program Coordinator, Graduate Medical Education Do you love organizing moving parts, bringing people together, and helping turn big ideas into action? Are you someone who can keep a project on track, coordinate a great meeting, build relationships with partners, and somehow still remember where the spreadsheet lives? If so, we may have the job for you! The University of Alaska is looking for a Program Coordinator for Graduate Medical Education (GME) to help support efforts to expand physician residency training opportunities across Alaska. This position plays an important role in coordinating the work of the Alaska GME Council and collaborating with healthcare organizations, educators, physicians, and community partners throughout the state. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, relationship-building, project coordination, and making a meaningful impact on Alaska's healthcare workforce. The Program Coordinator provides operational leadership for implementation of Alaska GME Council activities. The position coordinates statewide meetings, rural site readiness assessments, technical assistance, training activities, communications, and partnership development while supporting implementation of strategies to expand residency training opportunities across Alaska.

Key Requirements & Qualifications

  • Three years college coursework and three years progressively responsible experience related to public health, healthcare administration, education, business, or related field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
