Temporary Employee - College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences The College of Fisheries and Ocean Sciences (CFOS) at UAF is accepting applications for a variety of temporary positions that may become available throughout the year. Multiple departments within CFOS such as Fisheries, Oceanography, Marine Biology, and other related areas will review applicants from this pool on an as-needed basis. Temporary hires may assist in a range of tasks including: - Scientific laboratory work - Fieldwork and data collection - Ordering and receiving supplies - Administrative and office support Depending on the specific role, additional requirements may include: travel to remote sites, lifting or moving heavy equipment, driving a UA vehicle (valid driver's license required).
