Temporary Faculty Job Pool (FY 2026-2027)- International Arctic Research Center (IARC) The International Arctic Research Center (IARC) invites applications for its temporary faculty pool. We seek individuals who hold a Master's, PhD in a relevant field of science and possess the expertise, skills, and abilities necessary to collaborate effectively with IARC faculty and researchers. Applicants must demonstrate relevant experience that enables meaningful contributions to designated projects and programs. A strong foundation in research methodologies, proficiency in the use of research software, and well-developed analytical skills are essential for successfully conducting and supporting proposed research activities. To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with a deep commitment to their area of research and relevant field experience where applicable. Success also requires the ability to foster a collaborative and intellectually engaging environment that supports effective teamwork and knowledge exchange. Master's or PhD education in a relevant discipline or fields of science are welcome. This position is located on the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus in Fairbanks. The job posting is a pooled position, which means that the position remains open over the academic year and applicants are reviewed on an as-needed-basis by the International Arctic Research Center. Positions can be part time or full time.
