Position Description

Heavy Truck Mechanic (Rotational Schedule - Base Shop) - PRU0166 This is a remote/ rotational position, working in Prudhoe Bay, AK. The typical schedule is 84 hours per week (40 hours straight time and a minimum of 44 hours at time and a half). All meals and lodging are provided by Worley while the employee is on location. Transportation between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay is provided. Responsible for all aspects of maintenance and the repairing of heavy and light equipment in and out of the shops. Maintenance and rebuilding of PACCAR equipment will be prevalent. Analyze, diagnose, repair, rebuild and provide maintenance of equipment, tractor-trailers, water, vac, and fuel trucks.

  • Knowledge of and experience in lubrication procedures for all types of heavy equipment common to heavy construction and oilfield service industries.
  • Ability to maintain equipment maintenance records.
  • Ability to give and receive oral safety warnings, instructions, and task assignments.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools.
