Position Description
Journeyman Pipefitter (Deadhorse - CMC Fab Shop) - PRU016B This is a remote/ rotational position, in which you will be assigned to work three weeks on/ three weeks off or a two weeks on/two weeks off, in Prudhoe Bay, AK. Schedules can vary based on Shop needs.. The typical schedule is 84 hours per week (40 hours straight time and a minimum of 44 hours at time and a half). All meals and lodging are provided by Worley while the employee is on location. Transportation between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay is provided. Lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs, maintains, and assists welders in preparation of piping and pipeline systems and industrial processing piping. Select type and size of pipe and related materials according to drawings and job specifications. Inspect worksites to determine presence of obstructions plans sequence of installation to avoid obstructions and activities of other crafts.

- Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to read, interpret and determine dimensional information for drawings and specifications such as isometrics, orthographic, P&ID's, equipment arrangements, and plan views etc.
- Advanced ability to measure accurately, layout work, cut, straighten, bevel, thread, and fit pipe.
- Ability to determine mitered fittings and rolling offsets.
