Accounts Payable Technician I, II, III Accounts Payable Technician III Summary of Job Responsibilities: The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Accounts Payable Technician is responsible for performing a combination of accounting and administrative support duties involving specialized knowledge of financial records and coding, inputting, and accessing information in SCF’s accounting system. This position has three (3) levels designed to provide progressively more responsible and independent work experiences. Progression between job levels is based on the demonstrated ability to successfully handle more progressively responsible assignments. Summary of Job Responsibilities: The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Benefits Specialist is responsible for providing administrative and technical support that requires knowledge of Human Resources issues with a focus on benefits. The Benefits Specialist assists with the administration of all benefits and retirement programs, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, leave administration to include Family Medical Leave, and short- and long-term disability. This position has two (2) levels designed to provide progressively more responsible and independent work experience. Progression between job levels is based on the demonstrated ability to successfully handle more progressively responsible assignments. SCF programs are established to serve a primary population comprised of Alaska Native people who are affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. Hiring Range $62,691.20 to $83,574.40 Hiring Range $71,760.00 to $95,693.87 Summary of Job Responsibilities: The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Manager of Coding is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the assignments of accurate medical and behavioral codes for diagnoses, procedures, and services performed by physicians and other qualified healthcare providers in the office setting. The Manager of Coding is proficient in coding across a wide range of services, including evaluation and management, surgery, radiology, pathology, behavioral, and medical procedures. The Manager of Coding demonstrates sound knowledge of medical coding guidelines and regulations including compliance and reimbursement. In addition, the Manager of Coding has knowledge of CPT, HCPCs, and ICD-10 as well as knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology necessary to correctly code provider diagnosis and services. This position has two (2) levels designed to provide progressively more responsible and independent work experiences. Progression between job levels is based on the demonstrated ability to successfully handle more progressively responsible assignments.
